Responsibilities
Conduct stakeholder analysis, market research, and detailed current/future-state process mapping using BPM standards
Develop context diagrams, functional decomposition, process workflows, business process models, use cases, wireframes, ERDs, data dictionaries, and system context diagrams
Perform gap analysis and maintain the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Gather, document, validate, and build business, stakeholder, solution, and transition requirements
Create user stories, acceptance criteria, and Agile deliverables
Collaborate with project managers, developers, portfolio managers, and end users to ensure designs meet business needs
Provide BA deliverables for procurement documents (e.g., RFPs) and assist in writing evaluation criteria
Support functional/integration testing, UAT (develop test scenarios/cases), and system go-live activities
Author meeting minutes, reports, analysis, and user documentation per PMO/BA methodologies
Qualification
Required
Extensive knowledge of business system analysis techniques and testing methodologies
Gathering business requirements, developing business rules, and process flows
Business process design, definition, and BPM standards
Business Analysis methodologies and problem-solving
Using JIRA and Confluence for requirements tracking and Agile workflows
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and Microsoft Project
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Developing procurement documents (RFPs, evaluation criteria)
Analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Collaborating with Product Owners/stakeholders to derive business requirements
Creative thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and team-building skills
Creating sequence diagrams and flowcharts
Preferred
State government experience
Salesforce platform knowledge or Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
