Responsibilities

Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials, products, and supplies in the proper inventory location
Create a work order and process in progression as outlined on the work order
Prepare shipping documents using the Oracle-based MRP system. Assemble containers and/or pallets, pack goods to be shipped, and attach relevant paperwork. Able to process government work orders with oversight from management
Responsible for coordinating the shipping, delivery, and receiving of raw parts
Using Oracle, receive parts into SIG. Diagnose and correct the issue if parts are received incorrectly
Create POs up to $10,000. Verify pricing and commitments to vendors
Look at parts to ensure proper serial numbers and that all parts are properly machined and deburred
Participate in and sustains 5S Standards, may also participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) Activities
Must follow all ISO procedures
May be required to work in other functional areas and/or facilities depending on business needs
Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is a necessary function of this position
May be required to work overtime or alternate shifts based on business needs

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required, related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. This is an entry level position not requiring any prior work experience
Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to drive a 1-ton van
Basic ability to use ERP and MRP system(s) to read pack and slips
Must be able to convey ideas and information clearly, concisely, and accurately to others, in English, both verbally and in written form
Ability to work in a team and provide meaningful contributions
Ability to complete assigned tasks on time
Ability to read basic blueprints
Communicate effectively to supervision regarding problems and corrective action
