Program Specialist - MDS Coordinator
Telligen is one of the most respected population health management organizations in the country. As a Nurse Reviewer, you will be responsible for conducting MDS Validation Reviews and collaborating with team members and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

Responsibilities
You will perform medical documentation reviews to validate appropriate MDS submissions and RUGS for all Skilled Nursing Facilities in the State of Maryland, utilizing Federal and State guidelines
You will collaborate and/or manage projects with team members and other health care professionals to complete MDS validations and special project initiatives
You will serves as liaison with internal and external customers to ensure projects, plans and/or products are completed satisfactorily
You will serve as a representative of the Company at external client meetings
You will maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients
You will ensure data is maintained accurately and in a confidential environment, and that information is presented in a professional, accurate, and understandable way
You will manage customer expectations regarding the program and related activities
You will partner with internal and external stakeholders through listening sessions and workgroups to explore methods for improvement
You will work to retain and grow Telligen’s business through providing excellent customer service and business development efforts
You will perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Valid, current Maryland Registered Nurse License
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a MDS Coordinator within the past 5 years
8 years of experience in healthcare with Long-Term Care emphasis
Demonstrated successful experience in PDPM MDS Validation reviews and/or OCHQ survey history
15% local and overnight travel may be required for on-site validations
Preferred
Prefer current RAC-CT and CMAC certifications. Certifications are required within three months of hire and must be maintained throughout employment
