Responsibilities

Design vision systems including specifying cameras, lighting, and lensing requirements

Lead or participate on project teams to develop clear specifications, evaluate feasibility of concepts, and provide formal estimates for machine vision applications

Provide leadership on championing functional best practices and new technology initiatives

Influence and define functional, departmental, and divisional procedures through involvement with cross-functional engineering initiatives

Lead project teams that include Designers, Engineers, and Technicians in the design, assembly, and debugging of equipment

Integrate machine vision systems into PC- or PLC-based systems

Explain factual information of limited complexity to others in straightforward situations

Organize, present, and explain data/information to internal and external audiences
