Responsibilities
Design and define IT networks for new or existing computer systems supporting the development team
Perform complex systems development and IT infrastructure design work that may include logical network design, physical network design, manufacturing and development cost projections, and IT systems engineering
Evaluate new network technologies and make recommendations to project managers regarding integrating these technologies into the existing network
Develop documentation on new or existing systems
Write custom HTTP/Rest/DNS/etc. server to solve unique problems
Partner with our testing team in support of network operating security and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Must be able to obtain TS/SCI
Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 10+ years of experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Proficiency with Python, Networking
Knowledgeable of DHCP, DNS, routes, routers, switches, and firewalls to aid in network troubleshooting and design
Experience with one or more: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt (configuration management)
Experience with one or more: GitLab CI, Jenkins CI, GitHub CI
Experience with one or more: Linux, Debian, Ubuntu, Red Hat
Experience with one or more: Docker, Podman, or OCI containers
Proficient with (RHEL), OpenSUSE
Proficient with Windows (any version)
Advanced verbal and written communication skills with a focus on the creation of technical documentation for testing
Preferred
10+ years of IT Network Engineer of Software Developer/Software Developer in Test experience
