Inspector I - 4/10 - 2nd Shift

They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Inspector to ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance before shipment, performing detailed inspections and collaborating with production and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Inspect products using various inspection gages, scales, and visual inspection prior to product shipment
Perform complex geometric layout inspection using standard variable gaging and relative mathematics
Prepare and submit first article inspections to customer requirements
Verification of certifications and testing of incoming raw materials
Function as Designated Quality Representative for various customers to release products for shipment
Examine material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and other surface irregularities
Compare product with applicable parts list or sample model to ensure completion of assembly
Verifies dimensional compliance of all products with drawing and customer requirements
Interprets engineering drawings and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards
Performs in-process inspection and testing of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with all applicable mechanical and process related requirements

Required

High school or equivalent
Experience in Quality Control function in a commercial or Aerospace environment (recommended)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations

Preferred

Must be able to understand and follow instructions in English
Must be able to understand and interpret customer drawings and engineering sketches
Proficiency in Microsoft WORD and EXCEL
