This role will manage a team of project professionals, establish delivery standards, and partner with leadership to ensure projects are executed efficiently and consistently.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage an established Project Management Office supporting enterprise initiatives
Supervise, mentor, and develop Project Managers and Business Analysts
Define and maintain project governance, standards, and best practices
Oversee multiple concurrent projects, balancing hands-on leadership with team management
Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and within approved budgets
Collaborate with business and IT leaders to align priorities and secure appropriate resources
Provide executive-level project reporting, status updates, and risk management
Drive continuous improvement of project delivery processes and tools
Support delivery of software implementations and business transformation initiatives

Project Management Office (PMO)Project delivery frameworksProject Management Professional (PMP)People managementProject management toolsFinancial services experience

Required

Proven experience leading project teams or a PMO in an enterprise environment
Demonstrated people management and leadership experience
Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks (Agile and Waterfall)
Experience managing project budgets and financial accountability
Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) or comparable certification preferred
Background in financial services, banking, or credit union environments is a plus
