Procurement Officer I
The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Officer to oversee purchases and develop new contracts. This role involves procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies while ensuring compliance with state policies and procedures related to procurement.

Responsibilities
Oversee purchases and develop new contracts
Procure high-quality and cost-efficient supplies
Process departmental purchase requests
Ensure the timely delivery of required goods or services
Review purchase requests submitted to purchasing
Make designated procurements within agencies delegated authority for goods, unlimited for services
Assist in daily Warehouse and PPE operations and inventory tracking
Qualification
Required
Prior procurement experience
Valid State Driver's License
Must be able to obtain a VCA within one year of employment
Prior experience using Microsoft Office
Preferred
Associate Degree in Business or related field
Experience In a Hospital Setting Preferred
EVA Procurement System Experience preferred
State, County, Or Local Government Procurement Experience Preferred
Extensive experience in Public Purchasing
