CirrusLabs is seeking a hands on Kubernetes and OpenShift Consultant for a six month contract to hire opportunity with one of our enterprise clients. This role involves deploying, configuring, and managing Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters while troubleshooting issues and supporting containerized applications in production environments.

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift clusters

Perform hands on troubleshooting of cluster, node, pod, networking, and storage issues

Support containerized applications running in production environments

Configure and manage ingress, services, routes, and load balancing

Partner with enterprise networking, firewall, and security teams

Implement and support CI and CD integrations for container workloads

Manage RBAC, security policies, secrets, and certificates

Monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity

Perform upgrades, patches, and platform lifecycle management

Work onsite with infrastructure, platform, and application teams

Qualification

KubernetesRed Hat OpenShiftLinux systemsCI/CD toolsContainer securityTroubleshooting skillsCommunication skills

Required

Five or more years of hands on Kubernetes experience in production

Strong hands on experience administering Red Hat OpenShift

Deep understanding of Kubernetes core concepts including deployments, services, networking, and storage

Strong Linux systems experience

Proven troubleshooting skills across containers, networking, and infrastructure

Experience supporting high availability, mission critical systems

Strong communication skills and ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA

Preferred

Experience with hybrid infrastructure environments

Familiarity with CI and CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab

Experience with container security and policy enforcement

Exposure to monitoring and observability platforms

Kubernetes or Red Hat certifications

Experience supporting large enterprise environments
