Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and support secure and scalable infrastructure in AWS (with some exposure to Azure)
Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices
Administer Linux and Windows servers in cloud environments, including patching and troubleshooting
Support and improve cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, VPNs)
Develop automation and scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines
Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance standards
Monitor system performance, availability, and cost; assist with optimization efforts
Document infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on experience supporting AWS cloud infrastructure
Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
Strong Linux systems administration experience (Windows a plus)
Understanding of cloud networking concepts (DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs)
Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation workflows
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a collaborative, hands-on team environment
Preferred
AWS or cloud-related certifications
Experience supporting production environments in AWS
Exposure to Microsoft Azure or multi-cloud environments
Experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, or containerized workloads
Knowledge of cloud security frameworks (CIS benchmarks, IAM best practices)
