Responsibilities
Draft, review, and file post-judgment enforcement documents, including:
Assignments of Judgment
Writs of Execution
Levies and enforcement instructions
Abstracts and Satisfactions of Judgment
Memoranda of Costs, Proofs of Service, and SOS filings
Prepare and litigate post-judgment motions, including motions, oppositions, replies, and supporting briefs
Conduct legal research related to judgment enforcement, creditor rights, exemptions, and procedural compliance
Assist with enforcement strategy and support levy and property seizure actions in coordination with sheriffs, levying officers, and process servers
Support recovery efforts for judgments that are contested, aged, or difficult to collect
Qualification
Required
Active California Bar license
Strong legal drafting and research skills
Working knowledge of California Code of Civil Procedure §§ 680–724
Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple matters
Preferred
3+ years' experience in civil litigation, collections, creditor rights, or judgment enforcement
