Financial Analyst
Advocate Health is the third-largest nonprofit, integrated health system in the United States, formed from the merger of Advocate Aurora Health and Atrium Health. They are seeking a Financial Analyst to prepare and analyze financial statements, develop cash forecasting models, and support budgeting processes while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Prepare and analyze financial statements, cost reports, and statistical data
Develop and maintain cash forecasting, capital planning, and treasury models
Conduct benchmarking, KPI analysis, and variance reporting
Support budgeting, cost accounting, and productivity standards
Perform ad-hoc analyses (e.g., program reviews, reconciliation variances, business development assessments)
Post journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
Mentor accounting staff and support financial systems training
Research and document technical accounting issues
Present complex financial information to senior leadership
Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders
May lead or coordinate financial projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis or accounting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Proficiency in Excel, financial systems, and BI tools
