QA Associate Document Contro

The Quality Assurance Associate - Document Control is responsible for managing controlled documents in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards, ensuring efficient documentation processes that support the organization's quality assurance objectives.
Responsibilities
Manage the issuance and receipt of controlled documents including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and specifications
Ensure that all controlled documents are properly archived and retrievable as per established protocols
Maintain an accurate inventory of controlled documents and ensure the removal of obsolete documents from circulation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the review and approval process of controlled documents
Assist in the development of document change notifications and manage the document change control process
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and internal policies regarding document control
Participate in internal and external audits related to document management practices
Provide training and support to staff on document control processes and best practices
Act as a point of contact for inquiries related to controlled documents and their management
Identify opportunities for process improvement in document control and contribute to the development of best practices
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement changes and enhancements to document control systems
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or document control, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to document control (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485)
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficient in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Adaptability to changing priorities and fast-paced work environments
