Distribution Facilities Specialist

Responsibilities
You will serve as a Distribution Facilities Specialist and be responsible for ensuring proper material management is executed to achieve and maintain an optimized supply chain
Screening documents for receipt verification, inspecting material upon receipt, and accepting material shipments into inventory
Conducting physical inventories and reconciliations
Initiating, preparing, editing, and processing requisitions to stock to include contacting others to obtain materials status information and/or expedite delivery
Using automated systems to maintain inventory control records and to make corrections
Preparing and shipping repairable material back to a designated facility
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be registered or exempt from the Selective Service
A one-year probationary period may be required

Selectee must be able to obtain/maintain a valid state driver's license

To qualify at the GS-9 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-7 grade level in the federal sector
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet Federal qualification requirements if you can show that your foreign education is comparable to education received in accredited educational institutions in the United States
Submit a copy of your college transcript (unofficial is acceptable) from an accredited institution. Once selected and prior to appointment, applicants must provide an official college transcript
