Vice President of Sales
SoTalent is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales for the Health Systems Segment responsible for driving revenue growth and shaping strategic sales initiatives. The role involves leading a high-performing team to exceed business objectives across key market segments.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with business goals and market trends
Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of sales leaders and account executives
Oversee the full sales cycle, ensuring consistent execution and best practices
Set and manage sales targets, quotas, and KPIs; analyze performance and implement improvements
Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base
Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and industry influencers
Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver seamless customer experiences
Manage budgets and optimize resource allocation for cost-effective operations
Represent the organization at industry events and drive adoption of innovative sales technologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
12+ years of progressive sales experience, including 4+ years in senior leadership within a large organization
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
Strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with C-level stakeholders
Deep understanding of the healthcare industry and regulatory environment
Proficiency with CRM tools; ability to travel up to 40%

Experience in pharmaceutical distribution and success in implementing strategic change initiatives
