Senior Omnichannel Media Strategy Lead (CPG / Retail Brands)
Hyperdrive Lab is seeking a senior, client-facing media strategist to own omnichannel media strategy for a national CPG brand. This leadership role involves overseeing media strategy and budget orchestration across various channels while collaborating with agency partners and internal teams.

Responsibilities
Overall media strategy and budget orchestration across omnichannel investments
Translating high-level brand goals into clear, executable media frameworks
Leading planning conversations across trade-up, drink-up, and grow-up audiences
Acting as a strategic filter between brand strategy, creative, and media execution
Guiding optimization decisions based on directional signals, not false precision
Helping define learning agendas, measurement priorities, and reporting narratives
Participating in client meetings and occasionally in-person sessions (LA preferred)
Qualification
Required
8–12+ years in media strategy for CPG, retail, or omnichannel brands
Experience in CTV, Retail Media, Programmatic
Have led large national budgets ($5M+)
Comfortable when attribution is messy and judgment matters
Can confidently explain why money should move between channels
Know how to balance brand health, reach, frequency, and long-term growth
Have been the 'adult in the room' on complex media plans
Can lead without ego and collaborate deeply with execution teams
Preferred
Strong preference for LA / SoCal or major US media markets
