Responsibilities

Develop and execute a global real-estate strategy that supports business growth, cost optimization and flexible workplace models
Maintain and update a multi-year real-estate roadmap (leasing, renewals, consolidations, acquisitions, dispositions)
Establish governance, policy and approval frameworks for real-estate decisions and capital projects
Oversee facilities management (onsite teams and outsourced vendors) to ensure safe, efficient, and employee-friendly workplaces across all locations
Define and monitor SLAs for maintenance, security, workplace services, office moves and vendor performance
Lead workplace experience initiatives (space planning, occupancy management, desk hoteling, meeting spaces, and employee health & safety programs)
Lead site selection, lease negotiation, renewals, expansions and terminations , manage broker relationships and RFPs for MSPs and major vendors
Maintain lease administration processes, ensure accurate accounting/timing for lease obligations (ASC 842 / IFRS 16 coordination with Finance)
Drive cost-effective negotiation of landlord concessions, tenant improvements and operating expense reconciliation s
Develop and implement the company’s ESG strategy with measurable targets across energy, emissions, waste, supplier sustainability, and workplace wellbeing
Build reporting processes to support ESG disclosure (internal dashboards and external reporting frameworks)
Collaborate with Procurement and Legal to incorporate sustainability criteria into vendor selection and contracts
Own budgeting, forecasting and financial performance for real-estate , facilities and ESG programs , identify and realize cost savings
Work with Treasury and Tax to assess financial impact of leases, tax implications and insurance
Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, workplace safety standards and insurance requirements
Lead and develop the internal real-estate & facilities team , recruit, mentor and set performance objectives
Manage strategic vendor partnerships (property managers, facilities service providers, security, cleaning, movers, MSPs) and run vendor performance/SLAs
Foster strong cross-functional relationships with HR, IT, Security, Procurement, and Business Unit leaders to align workplace and real-estate initiatives with talent and operational needs
Implement and maintain real-estate and facilities systems (lease administration, JLL , workplace analytics) to enable data-driven decisions
Deliver regular executive reporting for occupancy, cost per employee, utilization , ESG metrics, and project status to Finance and ELT

Required

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Facilities Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field required
10+ years of progressive real-estate, facilities or corporate portfolio management experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Demonstrated experience managing a global real-estate portfolio, leading cross-border transactions, and directing facilities operations
Proven track record in delivering workplace transformation initiatives, cost optimization, and vendor management
Strong commercial negotiation and contract skills (leases, vendor agreements, service contracts)
Deep operational knowledge of facilities management (maintenance, FM vendors, security, workplace safety)
Financial acumen — budgeting, forecasting, ROI analysis, cost-per-seat and lease accounting awareness
Excellent stakeholder management and influence - Able to work with Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and senior leaders
Data-driven mindset - Experience with JLL, lease administration platforms, and business intelligence/reporting tools
Clear communicator with strong project management skills, comfortable presenting to ELT and Board-level stakeholders
Ability to travel internationally as required (estimated up to 10%)
Flexibility to respond to critical site incidents outside normal business hours as needed

Preferred

Advanced degree (MBA, MSc) or relevant professional credential (e.g., RPA, FMP, CFM) preferred
Experience building or operating ESG/sustainability programs and reporting preferred
