Management Analyst
Air Force Civilian Service is seeking a Management Analyst to work in the Nuclear Technology & Integration Directorate. The role involves serving as the program manager responsible for life cycle management of the nuclear certification process for Air Force nuclear weapons and systems.

Responsibilities
Develops strategic and tactical nuclear certification requirements plans to support USAF nuclear weapon/weapon system development/modification programs
Provide technical guidance, advisory support and assistance on nuclear certification requirements/process
Interpret Air Force nuclear certification process, acquisition/sustainment, and program management directives
Prepare and present staff studies to the Technical Director and other management officials
Incumbent will establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, functional staff offices, and organizational counterparts at various levels in response to special project directions, funding issues, policy changes, and the impact of these changes
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to justify, defend, present, and/or advise on processes/actions and maintains good working relationships
This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre‐employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing
This position may require up to 25% travel
Qualification
Required
U.S. CITIZENSHIP
Obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to justify, defend, present, and/or advise on processes/actions and maintains good working relationships
This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to pre‐employment drug testing as a condition of employment, and participation in random drug testing
Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft
Preferred
Knowledge of Nuclear Surety, Compatibility, Certification, weapon system interfaces, weapon system support activities (logistics, inventory, production, program management, and engineering)
Ability to work effectively with stakeholders and assess information to provide information, expertise, and assistance to satisfy requirements
Ability to refine existing work methods and techniques to conduct analysis of specific issues or resolve of problems
Ability to gather, plan, organize and direct their own work and develop alternatives, and make recommendations to resolve problems
