Responsibilities

Write code selectively to handle complex logic AI cannot fully automate

Review AI-generated and human-written code for correctness and maintainability

Build and maintain automated tests to validate functionality and prevent regressions

Continuously refine workflows to improve accuracy, consistency, and development speed

Ensure code follows security best practices and is optimized for long-term maintainability

Participate in code reviews, testing, and release processes

Required

7+ years of development experience, ideally within SaaS, e-commerce, or Shopify ecosystems

Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel) and Go, with experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and React or similar frameworks

Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, including integrations with Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs

Comfortable with Git, modern development workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines

Strong understanding of secure coding practices, system performance, and maintainability

Preferred

Experience leveraging AI or automation tools to accelerate development is a plus

Curious, self-driven, and eager to experiment with new tools and workflows

Agile and adaptable, able to pivot when priorities change

Problem-solver with a practical, results-focused mindset

Exceptional communicator, able to clearly explain ideas, code decisions, and collaborate effectively across the team

Excited about working with AI to improve coding speed, quality, and consistency
