The Construction Materials Intern will assist technical staff with project activities, prepare reports, and conduct fieldwork related to materials testing.

Responsibilities

Assist technical staff on day-to-day projects

Prepare reports and document project activities and data

Prepare analyses from collected data

Set up and help maintain project files and records

Field work consisting of sample collection, soil/asphalt coring, pick-ups, and flagging

Qualification

Required

Associates Degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, Construction Technology or pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field

Interest in Geotechnical/Concrete/Asphalt Testing

Must have reliable transportation to the office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Possess solid problem-solving skills

Must be able to work in a high-paced environment

Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office

A valid driver's license and good driving record required

Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
