Responsibilities
Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining emergency management and business continuity plans, procedures, and protocols
Support the coordination and execution of business continuity exercises, drills, and trainings
Aid in the creation and maintenance of documentation, reports, and records related to emergency response and recovery
Assist in preparing after-action reviews following trainings, exercises, or real events to identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of emergency management and business continuity strategies across the organization
Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends to inform the client's program enhancements
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of progressive experience in emergency management, business continuity, or disaster preparedness, including program development or enhancement
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and evaluate organizational emergency and continuity strategies
Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills with experience engaging leadership and cross-departmental teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with data analysis tools
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Public Administration, or a related field
Prior Project Management Experience
Prior experience in the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command System (ICS)
Prior experience or certification in ISO22031 Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)
