Responsibilities

Secure one specific regulatory project with DFS 500.4 with the definition of the business requirements, methodology documentation, creation of the template, roadmap… and coordination of the project execution
Manage and deliver a Business Continuity / Disaster Recover regulatory compliance and improvement initiative to ensure program capabilities are aligned with regulatory requirements and consistent with industry standard practice
Develop a Disaster Recovery Policy and Procedure to document and communicate a minimum set of disaster recovery requirements for effectively safeguarding Mizuho US Operations people, processes, and technology. The documents should reflect the scope of disaster recovery services and capabilities undertaken in the firm and in accordance with regulatory obligations

Required

5- 7 years of experience in the financial services industry preferably in an Operational Resilience, Business Continuity Planning and / or Disaster Recovery capacity
Working knowledge of US financial services regulatory requirements associated with Operation Resilience, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
Effective project management skills and proven experience leading and delivering projects
Must be detail oriented, ability to work independently, and have strong organizational skills
Experience writing policy and procedure documents
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
Track project milestones and deliverables
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be able to interact and work efficiently and effectively with all staff across the organization
Strong verbal / written communications
Bachelor's Degree or greater
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

Preferred

Big 4 consulting or equivalent experience is a plus
