Principal Software Tool developer (SWE-4)
Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for a Principal Tool Developer in their Intel Sector. The role involves developing innovative tools for cryptanalytic engineering and analysis, working closely with mission stakeholders and researchers from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities
Perform end-to-end (concept to reality) capability development, taking research-based approaches – often software prototypes and algorithms – to create tools for cryptanalytic engineering and analysis
Savvy with enterprise Java application development in order to take existing tool base, understand the tool’s functionality from documentation and research, examine new parameters needed, and lead overall development
Will perform software & architecture review, transition and release planning, maintenance, automated testing, debugging, user support, version control, and new feature development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree plus twelve (12) to fifteen (15) years of relevant software development experience or equivalent
Proficiency with JAVA, Python, Rust, C++, TypeScript, VisualStudio, Gitlab
Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for this role
Preferred
Graph representation and transformation to alt graph structures
Digital logic emulation
Re-architecture to object-oriented techniques
File parsing and generation with optimization framework
