Responsibilities

You'll be a key hands-on player ensuring the stability and security of our cloud environment

You will be empowered to lead root cause analysis on complex operational issues, work collaboratively with our senior federal and contractor teams to refine and approve standard operating procedures, and be a vital voice in our incident, problem, and change management processes

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Knowledge of common cloud technologies and tools to effectively manage, monitor, and strategically plan the cloud environment

Knowledge of the functionality and operations of commercial cloud operating environments sufficient to determine cloud requirements and integrate them with overall customer requirements for a seamless environment

Knowledge of program management principles, practices, concepts and methods to prepare and maintain A1 Virtual Data Center (VDC) assets through effective planning, analysis, reporting, and financial management

Knowledge of cloud architectures and concepts, necessary to evaluate and regulate the multiple facets of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) components in the A1 VDC environment. Includes establishing required baselines and reviewing logs, financial reports and other source data to recognize excess costs

Ability to research and document cloud challenges and develop solutions to enhance efficiencies and streamline the A1 VDC and its components

To qualify for this job, you must be certified under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). The specific level of certification required will be determined locally
