Responsibilities
Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Management to process nonconforming materials
Monitor Corrective Action Reports to ensure adequate progress is made in achieving corrective actions
Verify the effectiveness of the corrective actions
Audit company processes to ensure compliance with established standards
Collect and compile data, analyze data, and complete various quality reports for internal use and upon customer request
Evaluate and recommend changes to process specifications and product specifications based on defect data and customer complaint information to ensure consistency and efficiency
Train employees on the Quanex quality system, including documentation, procedures, measurement techniques, and appropriate sampling frequencies
Qualification
Required
Must be reliable, cooperative, and a self-starter
Knowledgeable of measurement tools and techniques
Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP
Ability to read and understand; BOMs, part drawings, control plans, and other production related documentation
