Responsibilities
Define and execute the vision for DevOps across embedded software programs, aligning with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
Establish multi-year roadmaps for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and reliability improvements
Architect scalable CI/CD frameworks supporting concurrent development streams and complex embedded systems
Drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automated compliance checks, and advanced monitoring solutions
Lead and grow a high-performing DevOps organization, including managers and senior engineers
Mentor technical leaders and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Partner with software development, QA, systems engineering, and regulatory teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices
Influence product architecture for improved build, test, and deployment efficiency
Implement robust governance for version control, configuration management, and release processes
Ensure audit readiness and compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and other regulatory standards
Define KPIs for DevOps performance, reliability, and scalability; report progress to executive leadership
Qualification
Required

Advanced knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
Strong understanding of embedded build systems (CMake, Make) and hardware-in-the-loop testing
Familiarity with static analysis tools (SonarQube, Coverity) and compliance automation
Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
Ability to drive organizational change and scale DevOps practices globally
BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
10+ years of experience in DevOps or software engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role
3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure for embedded systems
3+ years of experience managing complex development, test, and production environments
Preferred
MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
