Responsibilities
Lead and expand client relationships with public and private companies across diverse industries
Advise on complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity investments, and public offerings
Provide strategic counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and ethics programs
Collaborate with cross-practice teams — including tax, IP, real estate, environmental, antitrust, and litigation — to deliver comprehensive client service
Participate in business development initiatives and thought leadership opportunities within the San Francisco market and beyond
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active membership in the California Bar (or eligibility to waive in)
Extensive experience handling sophisticated corporate transactions, ideally in an AmLaw 100 or comparable firm
Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and lead transaction teams
Proven success in business development and client origination
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
