Strategic Account Manager

The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing strategic accounts in the mid-Atlantic region, growing revenue year over year, and developing new strategic accounts to achieve or exceed revenue objectives.

Responsibilities

Drives revenue growth through a combination of hunting for new opportunities and farming existing accounts to generate additional revenue
Develops and implements growth strategies to establish new partnerships and strengthen business relationships, promoting CORT products and services
Assist with developing operating procedures and policies between CORT and the customer
Continual education to clients of all business segments serviced by the Strategic Account Manager. Perform Individual and Group presentations to educate and inform clients and potential clients of CORTs capabilities and offerings
Maintain and develop new revenue growth strategies within existing customer base
Collaborates with internal departments, such as marketing, sales, and operations, and external partners and allies in the development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies
Addresses customer service issues when called upon by client, including problem resolution and outcome communication
Continuously communicates with clients on CORT services, product lines, procedures, and policies updates. Primary liaison between CORT and identified segment clients and potential clients
Maintain accurate, complete, and up to date records of customer sales activities and account information in Salesforce
Manages relationships with various prospects, existing clients, and partners in the Exhibit House & General Contractor organizations
Participates and provides input in discussions regarding pricing, new product development and contractor merchandising
Provides strategic updates to CORT management team on Contractor/Exhibit House long-range goals, strategic plans, and organizational initiatives
Travel to events and trade shows to enhance Contractor/Exhibit House client relationships as well as to provide onsite sales support when necessary. (Up to 50% travel required)
Work directly with clients as necessary on projects and opportunities, act as their business consultant
Involvement/leadership in Exhibit House as well as General Contractor industry associations and related networking events, represent and promote the CORT Brand

Required

Bachelor's degree required and minimum 5 years national sales experience
Advanced business math skills are required for this position
Knowledge of SalesForce.com is helpful
Computer proficiency is required
This position may require late night and weekend work to attend networking events, or make walk-through of scheduled deliveries
Reliable transportation is required to travel between appointments with clients
