Responsibilities
Conduct detailed task and process hazard analysis and risk assessments including HAZOP and HAZDEMO reviews
Develop, implement, and continually improve Micron’s safety and IH programs and operating procedures to assure worker safety and property conservation
Monitor changes to regulatory requirements and implement changes as required
Develop and conduct safety and IH training
Plan, develop, and perform site compliance and conformance audits in conjunction with area personnel
Respond as IH/safety professional to emergencies and rotate through an “on-call” schedule
Perform investigations of accidents and unplanned events
Collect, evaluate, and communicate safety performance measurements to site management
Support continuous improvement of Micron’s Occupation Health and Safety Management System
Support Safety Management System across construction and industrial environments
Qualification
Required
3+ years professional experience in Safety or Industrial Hygiene field preferred
Demonstrated ability to work well with various subject areas within a sophisticated environment or equivalent
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with team members, customers, and management
Demonstrated success in managing small to medium sized projects and leading multi-functional teams
Ability to self-motivate and work with a minimum of supervision
Preferred
CSP or CIH
