Regional Safety Specialist
Yardnique, Inc. is focused on implementing and managing safety and risk management programs at the regional level. The Regional Safety Coordinator ensures compliance with safety policies, conducts training and audits, and promotes a culture of safety across all branches.

Responsibilities
Implement and enforce Yardnique’s corporate safety policies and procedures across regional branches
Conduct regular field visits and unannounced audits to evaluate safety compliance and hazard identification
Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for all branch employees and ensure proper usage of tools and PPE
Lead root cause analysis investigations for all OSHA recordables, incidents, and property loss within the region
Support the management of worker’s compensation claims by collaborating with local branches, HR, and medical providers
Maintain accurate safety documentation and incident records in coordination with the Corporate Safety & Risk Manager
Provide weekly safety updates and regional reports, including safety performance metrics and open issues
Assist in the roll-out and monitoring of fleet safety and GPS/telematics compliance at the state level
Educate all employees on their safety responsibilities and promote continuous improvement in safety behavior
Participate in disciplinary reviews and investigations related to safety or misconduct when appropriate
Serve as a local point of contact for risk and safety concerns and collaborate with the corporate safety manager to resolve issues
Support emergency response procedures and drills; ensure that regional teams are trained and equipped
Provide training, once certified for safety and emergency response procedures e.g. CPR, Defensive Driving, etc
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of relevant safety management experience, preferably in landscaping, construction, or similar field environments
Proven ability to train and lead teams in workplace safety initiatives and procedures
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, risk assessment, injury prevention, and claims management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
Preferred
Preferred coursework in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, or a related field; or equivalent experience
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred but not required
