Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and close supplier audits according to established audit plans
Follow up on audit findings and verify corrective actions, including supplier development and re-audits
Review and prepare job instructions and technical data for audits in collaboration with engineering teams
Prepare and deliver audit reports and related documentation to management
Monitor supplier quality performance and address issues using measurable criteria
Work effectively with cross-functional teams and demonstrate professional conduct
Manage interactions across diverse cultures and adapt to changing business needs
Perform extensive global travel with short notice as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering or related technical field (preferred)
5+ years of experience in the heavy manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of welding, machining, casting, and international codes (AWS, CWB, ASME, EN)
Familiarity with NDT methods, especially UT and MPI
Experience in auditing and inspecting suppliers in the USA; auditing and quality cost experience is a plus
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Self-motivated, independent decision-maker, and goal-oriented
Flexible and adaptable to changing business conditions
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to work in a matrix organization
