Responsibilities
Hire, train, mentor, and coach software developers. Foster a high-performing, inclusive culture that supports career growth and technical excellence
Responsible for understanding team velocity and partner with our product managers with identifying high level staffing plans, ensuring the right mix of skills and capacity to meet project needs
Oversee all aspects of the Agile Scrum process including coordinating daily stand-ups, leading grooming and refinement discussions, and facilitating decision making across teams to deliver smooth, quality releases
Identify, define, and implement processes that enhance the quality, delivery, and overall effectiveness of the team
Champion engineering excellence best practices; including but not limited to, code reviews, documentation, and testing
Lead strategic resource scheduling for both current and planned team initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field or an equal amount of related professional experience
An ability to translate technical topics to non-technical stakeholders, influence their decision making, and challenge the status quo when necessary
Flexibility to meet changing demands and manage priorities in a dynamic environment
A collaborative mindset and desire to work in close knit teams
Capacity to think critically, efficiently problem solve, and execute solutions
Preferred
8+ years of experience in software development is preferred
At least 5+ years' experience in people management is preferred
