Responsibilities

Carries out tasks assigned by the Project Lead and engineering team

Drafting grading, drainage, utility, street frontage improvements, and stormwater management plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D

Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D grading feature lines and utility pipe networks

Preparing drawings per company and public agency CAD standards and project-dependent CAD specifications

Required

0-2 years of experience in a position requiring intensive AutoCAD/Civil 3D

Experience drafting on-site and off-site improvement drawings for land development projects

General knowledge of computers, Microsoft office, Adobe, Internet, etc

Proficient in AutoCAD Civil3D grading feature lines and utility pipe networks

Preparing drawings per company and public agency CAD standards and project-dependent CAD specifications

Carries out tasks assigned by the Project Lead and engineering team

Understanding Civil3D, AutoCAD

Basic understanding of Civil Engineering

Basic understanding of topographic and boundary surveys

Ability to understand and interpret design intent as communicated by engineers

Collaboration: Effective working relationships with management, coworkers, subordinates and clients

Problem Solving: The ability to develop a timely, efficient solution or alternative when posed with a problem

Responsiveness/Communication: Communicating in a prompt and professional manner

Prolonged periods of standing/walking (field checks)

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (field checks)

Occasional travel e.g. driving to offices, jobsites, client meetings, etc
