Responsibilities

Supporting the business development activities for the firm's Global Finance Department practice groups, including Banking & Private Credit, Private Equity Finance, Project Development & Finance, Restructuring & Special Situations and Structured Finance
Building strong relationships with BD team members and collaborating to support the lawyers in the Finance practice groups
Aiding in the execution of cross-selling strategies, including collaborating with relevant BD team members
Providing research, analysis and reporting to support the identification and development of new clients and the enhancement of existing client relationships
Supporting on directory submissions such as Chambers and Legal 500
Assisting with the creation and maintenance of written marketing materials and website content, including practice profiles and relevant experience lists
Identifying and reporting on market share across sectors, transaction types, and markets
Collaborating with lawyers and BD, and Brand & Communications teams on speaking opportunities, webinars, and other visibility initiatives
Supports the execution of practice group meetings and retreats
Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

Required

A minimum of two (2) years' experience within a law firm or professional services environment
A bachelor's degree or equivalent
Possess a high degree of discretion, independent judgment, and attention to detail
Demonstrate the ability to execute multiple work streams and manage priorities effectively
Display exceptional oral and written communication and professional interpersonal skills
