Mixed-Methods Researcher

Responsibilities
Serves as a main point of contact and liaison with internal and external stakeholders providing information and representing the interests of a specialized research area
Assists with the identification of research problems and the development of research methodologies and procedures
Attends and assists with the facilitation of scholarly events and presentations in support of continued professional development and the dissemination of research information
Collects and analyzes research data, conducts experiments and interviews, and documents results according to established policies and procedures under general supervision and limited responsibility
Writes or assists in developing grant applications and proposals to secure research funding
Conducts literature reviews, prepares reports and materials, and disseminates information to appropriate entities
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 4 years of experience designing and implementing a research agenda
Minimum of 3 years of experience researching topics related to K-12 education
Demonstrated knowledge of the field of multilingual education or related field (e.g., bilingual education, second language acquisition, language and literacy, curriculum and instruction)
Experience in management of research projects, deadlines, and budgets
Experience writing scientific papers and grant proposals in the areas of multilingual education or related field (e.g., bilingual education, second language acquisition, language and literacy, curriculum and instruction)
Experience conducting qualitative and mixed methods research, including study design, literature reviews, data collection and analysis, and dissemination of findings
Effective writing, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences and contexts
Bilingual in English and at least one other language
Preferred
Experience leading research teams and supporting their development of methodological skills
Experience serving as a subject matter expert and liaison to various stakeholders
Experience supervising and mentoring graduate students
Experience leading product/program evaluation
Experience with teaching or working with multilingual learners
Demonstrated knowledge about adult and/or teacher learning
