Responsibilities
Manage Earnest’s end-to-end complaints program within the First Line of Defense, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant resolution
Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate complaints, identify root causes, and drive remediation
Monitor complaint trends and escalate regulatory, UDAAP, or systemic risks
Draft and review complaint responses and maintain complaint governance, reporting, and procedures
Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and 1LOD testing and monitoring activities
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in compliance, audit, operational risk, or consumer lending operations
Strong knowledge of consumer lending laws and regulations
Experience with complaints management and risk identification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working cross-functionally
Preferred
Compliance, audit, or risk management certifications
Experience as a state or federal regulator
Prior compliance testing or monitoring experience
