The part-time Lab Technician I will support research studies by performing experiments, data collection, analysis, and reporting, while following established protocols and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities
Assists in the conduct of research studies and/or following established protocols and standard operating procedures
Conducts routine experiments and/or coordinates research study procedures in accordance with SOPs; receives, collects, and records study data in database; communicates and keeps researchers and/or PI up to date on any problems or concerns related to the research study or trial
Follow laboratory safety protocol including annual training modules specific to your role
Ensures proper documentation of experiments, regulatory documents, PI notes, and any other mandatory study-related documents and ensures quality and accuracy; archives documents for study per sponsor, government, and institutional requirements; keeps accurate records and provides necessary documents for regulatory audits
Maintains and manages inventory and research study supplies
Identify areas to improve research protocol and suggest solutions for implementation
All other duties as assigned
Assists in Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) fabrication
Laboratory study facilitation and data collection (80%)
Data analysis & reporting (20%)

Qualification
Required
Complete college coursework in relevant STEM disciplines
Previous laboratory experience
Reliable transportation and vehicle insurance if required to drive for role
Ability to work flexible hours
Proficient communication skills
High degree of professionalism
Preferred
Experience with the following equipment: Probe Sonicator, Analytical Balance, Thin Coating Machine, Laboratory Oven, Laser Cutter, & Hot Press
