Responsibilities
Primary contact with customers supplier quality department
Review and obtain agreement of customer specifications. Ensure compliance of agree specifications
Develop and implement quality control processes specific to ladder frame components
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues
Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, OEM requirements)
Work with suppliers to establish and monitor quality standards for raw materials and manufacturing processes
Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), Process Capability Studies (Cp, Cpk), and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Support Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and 8D problem-solving methodology for quality improvement
Lead PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submission and documentation
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and robustness of ladder frame structures
Analyze test results and field data to improve product performance and reliability
Implement and monitor welding and assembly quality standards for ladder frame production
Work with customers and suppliers to resolve complaints and drive continuous improvement
Support internal and external audits related to quality systems and regulatory compliance
