Spot & Tango is an innovative pet health & wellness brand that delivers personalized meal plans on a subscription basis. They are looking for a motivated Forklift Associate to operate a forklift and manage inventory in their new freeze drying facility.

Responsibilities

Responsible for reporting and following up on any observation that may impact associate safety and/or product Quality and Food Safety
Perform inspections of forklifts and other lift equipment and report any deficiencies
Receive, pick, load, and correctly warehouse all inbound materials and outbound finished products
Perform and record all required quality checks in accordance with quality and food safety standards
Maintain required GMPs and sanitation levels
Perform accurate inventory transactions into warehousing systems and maintain FIFO principles for all materials and finished products
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Six months work experience in warehousing operation using forklifts
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Able to operate a computer or tablet and utilize the basic standard desktop systems

Preferred

2+ years of experience operating forklift or other powered industrial equipment
Experience using ERP/WMS tools (SAP, Oracle)
Experience in food manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of HACCP and GMPs
OSHA approved Forklift Certification
