Electrical Controls Engineer

They are seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to develop complex systems, improve productivity, and lead significant projects while working with hardware and software integration.

Industrial Engineering

Responsibilities

Develops the design of very complex systems that integrate hardware and software
Develops very complex material specification, schematic preparation, and appropriate follow-up
Develops recommendations for ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction
Guides very complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design
Performs advanced areas of work for the professional field
Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems not covered by existing procedures or practices independently, including developing new solutions to existing opportunities
Displays a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/or cross-functional problems
Leads the largest complex projects, delegating most tasks to lower-level engineers

Required

Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering or advanced degree
5 – 8 years of successful experience in related field for electrical controls engineers
8-10+ years of successful experience in related field for senior level electrical controls engineer roles
Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments
Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues
Proficient in AutoCAD
Proficient in either Rockwell or Siemens PLCs
Knowledgeable on AC drives, both open & closed loop
Experience in Ethernet IP network design and machine safety a plus
