Responsibilities
Own engineering outcomes for your pod
Be accountable for speed, quality, and delivery predictability across all client work in your pod

Step in decisively when things get messy: unclear requirements, broken releases, fragile systems
Write production code (this is a player–coach role)
Ship code weekly across client and internal codebases, especially on architecture, foundations, refactors, and high-risk integrations
Set the quality bar by example: readable, scalable, testable, pragmatic code
Know the codebases deeply — not just tickets and dashboards
Set and enforce Tenex engineering standards
Define and maintain standards that keep quality high as we scale:
Repo structure and architecture conventions
PR hygiene and review expectations
Testing, observability, and reliability baselines

Build lightweight processes that enable great engineers instead of slowing them down
Drive AI-first execution
Push AI-assisted development across the pod: coding, debugging, testing, refactoring

Build or extend internal tools that give Tenex a real execution edge
Be client-facing when it matters
