Responsibilities
Support and contribute to requirements definition, decomposition, and allocation from aircraft-level to system and item-level
Assist in developing and maintaining functional and logical system architectures
Perform and support system safety assessments, including FHA, PSSA, SSA, CMA, and FMEA/FMES
Ensure requirements traceability from system-level down to item-level design and implementation
Plan and execute verification and validation (V&V) activities across the V-Model lifecycle
Collaborate with software and hardware teams during system design, integration, and testing phases
Support FAA/EASA certification activities, including documentation and compliance evidence
Participate in technical design reviews, audits, and technical interchange meetings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
5+ years of experience in systems engineering within aerospace or complex system environments
Hands-on experience with Systems Engineering V-Diagram / V-Model processes
Knowledge of safety assessment methodologies (FHA, PSSA, SSA, CMA, FMEA/FMES)
Familiarity with certification standards such as ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254
Strong analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills
Preferred
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS)
Knowledge of system modeling tools (SysML/UML, Cameo, or equivalent)
Experience supporting test planning and execution across multiple integration levels
Exposure to aircraft system design, development, and certification activities
