Responsibilities

Teach courses such as Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, Small Group Communication, and Introduction to Communication Studies

Develop and deliver course materials consistent with departmental and institutional learning outcomes

Use effective, student-centered teaching practices and maintain accurate course documentation

Provide timely feedback, hold office hours, and refer students to support services as needed

Participate in departmental meetings, training, and curriculum or assessment activities related to term faculty responsibilities

Advise students in communication studies and related areas

Contribute to the area’s strategic revision to meet the needs of contemporary employers
