People Administrator

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for organizing, conducting, and administering new hire orientations, ensuring a welcoming and compliant onboarding experience from day one. This includes completing all required paperwork, processing new hires into Worley’s system of record, and completing the employer section of Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9) forms
You will interface regularly with Payroll, Benefits, IT, Site Leadership, and Corporate teams to ensure accurate and timely coordination of People activities. This includes entering employee transactions such as transfers, rate changes, promotions, and terminations into the HR information system, as well as responding to unemployment claims and supporting data and reporting requests
You will provide ongoing support to the craft recruitment team, particularly with sourcing activities, posting positions, and verifying candidate skills. You will also assist with planning and preparing recruiting events, including career fairs, open houses, and college campus recruiting, and you will represent Worley at industry events as needed
In this role, you will hold yourself and others accountable to meet commitments in an ethical, honest, and professional manner. You will provide additional support to the People team as required and take on miscellaneous duties that contribute to the overall success of the department and the region
Qualification
Required
At least one year of administrative experience
Exposure to benefits administration, new hire processing, or general employment law concepts
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Comfortable working in systems and managing data with accuracy and discretion
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Ability to adapt to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with a diverse employee population and leaders at all levels
Collaborative mindset, curiosity, and a genuine desire to support people
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline
Experience in Human Resources and HR information systems
Experience supporting construction, maintenance, and/or turnaround environments
