Responsibilities

Manages Medium & larger IT projects

Assist in reviewing project proposal or plan to help determine time frame and procedures for accomplishing project

Carry out established work plan for each phase of project; prepare status reports and distribute to involved parties

Management, tracking and reporting of project financials

Manage project scope through change control

Promote excellence in quality and customer service through work performed individually as well as within the department as a whole

Required

5+ years project management experience or demonstration of project management skills

5-7 years overall business experience

Experience in vendor management of purchased applications & contract onsite & offshore development teams

Solid understanding of current technologies in area of expertise

Strong analysis, design, and implementation experience with technologies

Experience in SQL and Microsoft platforms is a must

Understanding of how to leverage applications for project advantage

Good verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in setting and managing customer expectations

Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence

Solid project experience with ability to multitask in a cross-functional environment

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent, related project management experience

Project management training/certification

Preferred

Experience in the Moving, Transportation, or Logistics Industry is a plus
