The Income Tracking Analyst will ensure the accuracy and completeness of all incoming and calculated royalty data, working closely with various teams to manage data for catalogs, assets, and transactions.

Responsibilities

Reviewing incoming statements and payments from third parties for accuracy and completeness; following up with revenue sources as appropriate

Preparing management reports using business intelligence tools to track and analyze earnings vs prior reports, projections, and streams & airplay data

Identifying irregularities in reporting; synthesizing data to present to the administration and royalty audit teams for further review and correction

Recording Net Publisher’s Share and Net Label Share across income types to the General Ledger

Maintaining a deep understanding of investments, contract terms, and financial metrics

Proactively partnering with marketing, branding, content, and licensing teams regarding rights owned and revenue impact of projects to inform real-time decisions and opportunities

Engaging in desktop audits to recover revenue and blackbox income

Helping to ensure compliance with all internal and external policies and regulations

Using best practices to improve the efficiency of processes and analyses

Communicating regularly and effectively with the team regarding all major issues impacting data and reporting
