Responsibilities

Perform cell-based assays and maintain cell cultures

Conduct compound screening under minimal supervision

Maintain detailed, accurate experimental protocols and laboratory notebooks

Analyze data in a timely manner

Keep accurate inventory of supplies for laboratory operations

Effectively communicate with team members on research progress

Perform all other related duties as assigned; level of responsibility will depend on experience

Required

Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific field with a minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an industry setting

Minimum 1 year of hands-on mammalian cell culture experience

Hands-on experience with cell-based assays, standard biochemical and/or molecular biology techniques

Ability to execute experiments accurately, on time, and according to established protocols

Proficiency with standard laboratory calculations, dilutions and multi-well plates

Meticulous and timely record keeping

Demonstrated ability to multitask and collaborate with scientists in a highly dynamic environment

Outstanding organizational, time management, verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Cell culture of human primary cells, neurons, stem cells or induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)

Experience using Quantitative Capillary Western, MSD and/or immunochemistry techniques

Experience with automation / high throughput assays
