Responsibilities
Collects cost impact assessment from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors
Computes detailed cost labor estimates for composite fabrication and assembly operations including support labor
Load estimates into ProPricer (pricing software)
Prepares and maintains historical cost data
Creates cost models for cost estimating elements
Prepares cost reports and basis of estimate justification to present findings to management, contract personnel, proposal coordinators, customer representatives, price auditors, vendors, and subcontractors
Fact Find / Negotiation support of proposals submitted to various customers
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent resident (i.e., ‘Green Card') per ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) guidelines
This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or a foreign person per ITAR
The successful candidate will typically have a bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of related experience
Preferred
Basic understanding of FAR compliance and TINA (Truth in Negotiations Act) would be beneficial
