USAJOBS is seeking a Future Operations Supervisor who will serve as the Deputy Director of N35 Future Operations for Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe and U.S. Naval Forces Africa. Responsibilities

You will provide oversight and informed decision-making across all aspects of maritime operations, crisis action planning, global force management, fleet management, operational protection, ranges, and environmental protection

You will be responsible for tasking and coordinating the transition of future maritime operations to N33 Current Operations, subordinate Commanders, and other service component headquarters assigned in support of the operations and exercises

You will supervise and coordinate staff augmentation and resources to support Operational Planning Teams during competition, crisis, and conflict operations, including providing guidance for the employment of assigned naval forces

You will prepare and monitor the annual N35 budget, manage travel, and identify manning and capability shortfalls

You will perform the full range of supervisory functions and develop relevant and meaningful performance standards

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Overseeing the military operational planning, execution, and force development operations; 2) Coordinating with other DOD components relative to Future Operations, training, policy and interoperability for issues affecting the command; 3) Responding to all operational, planning, policy and contingency response matters in a timely manner; and 4) Assessing and improving the program effectiveness of strategy, campaign, and operational development
