Responsibilities

Providing technical oversight and direction in the electronics circuit design and development process for new product development
Engage in technical, manufacturing and supply chain issues and opportunities to enable quick decision making
Define the electronics test plans and test methods, review and approve the electronics design and test results
Ensure quality of output through internal gate reviews and other appropriate processes
Support design, analysis, and test of electronics propulsion systems and components to include requirements capture, architecture, schematic capture, design analysis and implementation of printed circuit boards
Lab testing and integration of complex electrical components, sensors, test equipment

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in electronics design, OR
Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in electronics design, OR
JD/PhD
In order to be considered for this role, you must be a US Citizen

Preferred

7+ years' experience in circuit design
Strong technical leadership, people management and project management skills
Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), change management, and risk management processes
Experience with Root Cause Analysis and other problem-solving techniques
Experience with embedded electronics design in aerospace or other industries requiring functional safety applications is preferred
Experience with schematic capture tools: Allegro-Cadence/Altium Designer
Knowledge of RTCA/DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 environmental testing standards
Experience / Understanding of Safety Critical Control Systems (DAL A-C), High Integrity Control Solutions
Knowledge of RTCA/DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 environmental testing standards
